Well VS Good

Many people confuse when to use good and when to use well. However, “good'' is an adjective and “well” is an adverb. In case you need a reminder of what that means, adjectives describe nouns and adverbs describe verbs. For example, you would say “I am a good student”, because student is a noun. If you wanted to talk about how you did on a test you could say, “I did well on the test.” If you want to describe someone’s health, how someone looks, feels, or is, you should use the word well. For example, “She does not look well.” or “I don’t feel well.” You should use the word good if you want to describe someone's emotional state. For example, “He felt good about his choice.” The most important part of this to remember is that “good'' is used to describe nouns and “well” is used to describe verbs.
