Exams are closer than they appear! In just a week and two days, final exams for the first semester will be underway. To help you prepare, here are some tips for achieving an excellent score:
Give Yourself Enough Time to Study
Cramming is never a good option, so it’s best if you work out how much time you want to dedicate to a certain area instead of having a free for all. Usually, 30 minutes is how long you should study before a quick break, so your brain doesn’t get tired.
Brain Foods
The food you eat can actually have benefits on the brain. Some of these foods include blueberries, broccoli, pumpkin seeds, dark chocolate, oranges, and many others. Try including some of these foods in your snacking during study sessions.
Learn By Teaching Others
To make sure you understand the material, try teaching it to a classmate, family member, or friend. Maybe not your cat…
Practice Exams
You can look up practice quizzes online for certain topics, or even create one yourself. If you are making one yourself, try to include what you think is most likely on the test, this way, you can have a deeper understanding of the material
Drink Water
Water increases cognitive function, and although you may be craving Mountain Dew, it's water that will help your brain work at optimum levels.
