Although there are no sports this week due to Thanksgiving break, there will be a Charger sighting! Two girls from Valley's pom-pon team (Ellie Young and Isabel Dues) are going to the Thanksgiving Day parade in Detroit to perform with the All Stars team. The parade will start at 10:00 A.M. You can watch it on TV with the WNEM TV 5 channel, or you can stream the parade online at www.clickondetroit.com. Some fun facts about the parade are it’s as old as the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade (80 Years!) and some people say that the holiday season hasn’t officially started until Santa shows up by the end of the parade.
Despite it not being a Charger team, don’t forget to root for the Detroit Lions this Thanksgiving at 12:30 P.M.
