From the dawn of time, two teams battle for victory. Whose side do you choose?
Michigan and Michigan State have been playing each other for just over 120 years. It wasn’t until 1945, though, that the rivals started consistently playing each other. Overall, Michigan wins the most, but recently, the victories have been more sporadic. Because of this, each year it gets harder and harder to tell who will dominate the field. Valley is pretty evenly split between the two teams. This October, 47% of students were rooting for Michigan State, while 53% rooted for University of Michigan. In the end, it was Michigan who won the Paul Bunyan trophy, 29-7.
