After months of practicing diligently, the pom team ranked 5th out of 9 teams in the small varsity High Kick category. The team was against Class A, and Class B teams, which they usually do not compete against. Their iconic blondes routine beat everyone in the Class C/D division that was in the small varsity category. The High Kick competition is very different than regular pom. High Kick includes themes that are executed with props, and costumes. 40 kicks are required, and no poms are used in the routine.Now the team will move onto practicing for their winter competitions.
